What: Kickball
When: Wednesdays, 6pm
Where: Southwest Community Park, off Hearn Ave, Santa Rosa
Cost: Nada (this time)
Bring: ALL YOUR FRIENDS INTERESTED IN FUN, Your game face, and some athletic shoes with tread on the bottom. Cleats are good, if you have them.
This meeting for this kickball group will be relatively informal.
I expect that introductions will be made, we will have a discussion on rules, days and times, and temporary teams will be selected for the game we play that day. Maybe head out to a pub for a cool one after.
SR Parks and Rec have assured me that the field is open, and will be for this day and time in the future for permit purposes.
If you will be late, please come anyway. If you want to play, you can play. Period.
For those of you who have played Adult kickball in the past, please feel free to chime in. I am new to the game, and any input will not be mocked. (no promises)
I have the rules from WAKA, and have been in contact with them about setting up a league. An official division probably won’t happen until spring, unless I can get a lot more people willing to play on weekends since daylight savings is going to cut into evening games very soon. WAKA requires 4 teams minimum for a sanctioned division.

Also, I have a regulation SIZE kickball (10 inch play ball), but have not received my Actual Regulation Ball from WAKA. If you happen to have one just lying around, please bring it.
